Letter from School Leadership

"To teach in order to lead others to faith is the task of  every preacher and of each believer."  St Thomas Aquinas

Dear Visitors and Members of the Saint Casimir School community,

Welcome to our school website.  I would like to thank you for expressing interest in St. Casimir School as an educational and spiritual opportunity for your child. St. Casimir is involved in an active relationship with St. Casimir church under the leadership of Father Dennis Grumsey.

Saint Casimir was established in 1902 in the Franciscan tradition and largely staffed by religious sisters. It is set in a neighborhood rich in Polish and Catholic heritage, In 1975 St. Casimir’s School was merged with St. Stanislaus School to serve the educational needs of both parishes, and the name was changed to Father Kolbe School. In 2008 the faith community of St. Casimir reestablished Father Kolbe as a parish school and took on its original name.

Saint Casimir is fully accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. Our small classes are staffed by highly qualified caring educators.  We teach a broad based curriculum based on the National Standards of Education and the Archdiocese Course of Study.

We invite you to explore our school and learn more about our strong academic, spiritual, extra-curricular activities. Please do not hesitate to call the school office at 410 342 2681 to set up a tour.

Sincerely,
Noreen Heffner,
Principal
